压接钳是电力行业在线路基本建设施工和线路维修中进行导线接续压接的必要工具。压接钳可分为分体式压接钳、整体式压接钳、充电式压接钳、导线压接钳等。压接钳由油箱、动力机构、换向阀、卸压阀、泵油机构组成，泵油机构由油泵体、高、低压油出油孔、偏心轴、偏心轴承、从动齿轮和一对高压油泵以及一低压油泵构成，油泵体悬固于油箱盖上，高、低压油出油孔开设在油泵体上，与卸压阀油路连接，偏心轴呈纵向设置，上端枢置于油泵体中央，下端固设偏心轴承，从动齿轮固置在偏心轴顶部，与动力机构联结，高、低压油泵悬固在油泵体上，各具一与偏心轴承相触的作动件，高、低压油泵的泵腔分别与高、低压油出油孔相通。优点:将泵油机构与动力机构的连接为垂直连接，可充分利用空间而小化占地面积，有利于作业及运输;将高、低压油泵的泵油形式变为偏心轴承的作动形式，具有结构简单、零部件少而利于装配。高空压接钳适用于高空作业，象形压接钳适用于地面作业。
