冷凝型燃气（油）锅炉节能换热器安装于锅炉或其他燃烧设备尾部烟道中，利用排烟冲刷高效换热管，加热在管中强制循环流动的软水，使其从常温（20℃）升高至60℃-90℃再进入锅炉，锅炉热效率提高8℃-13℃，达到降低燃烧消耗之目的。经过热交换的锅炉排烟温度将下降80-150℃，当烟温降至露点时，出现冷凝现象，生成冷凝水，燃烧过程中产生的氮氧化物、二氧化硫等大部分污染物则溶解沉积，随同冷凝水由换热器专设排水口排出。排出的冷凝水经中和处理后，可作为中水回收利用。

提升了软水温度，使锅炉在大量补水时压力波动范围缩小，运行更加稳定，同时具有除氧功能避免或减少了锅炉氧腐灼。
